Bedlington was a ninth-tier team from the northeast of England, near the Scottish border. Its players were semiprofessional. Matches drew 60 to 100 fans. The team’s video department consisted of a guy who stood behind the goal and captured highlights on his iPhone... But Mr. Rich was serious. He was a frozen-food mogul from Buffalo, the chairman of Rich Products Corporation, ranked 488th on the Forbes list of the world’s richest people, with an estimated wealth of $2 billion..."
